I think I spent too much time on it, at some moments I think it feels dull, Oh well.

thanks, Time limit can make working on a piece too stressiful. Although in the opposit end of the spectrum too much time can kill a piece. It's a good thing I stoped when I did

I think it's anything but dull honestly-I love the light & feeling you've brought to the piece :)

I think this is great.
You've got a nice brush stroke economy in the top half, and it looks really good. The lower half lacks the tightness that the top half has, and looks a little unfinished (comparitively). Good work anyway. I can't get the hang of Painter myself. Too many damned tools, haha.

Thank for being so sweet.
I just needed some time apart from the piece... so I spent 2 hours playing Tekken :P Well after that I looked back at it and I feel much better about it.

thanks. I was afraid the tones were too simular to yesterday's Harry Potter.

thanks.
Actually, before there were TOO many brush strokes on his face it it looks too detailed from a distance. I just needed some time apart from the piece.

Yeah, Painter has a lot to it. So I used mostly Conte Crayons and Charcoal Paper since I know how to use them well in real life. On this piece I used Conte, a blender and Scratchboard Pen. I've had this program and a wacom Tablet for over 2 years and I haven't done anything with it. I'm slowly trying to use it.
